About Me
My passion for graphic design was ignited during high school when I took on the challenge of creating a website for my first band. With limited resources, I taught myself HTML and coded entire websites using Notepad. Through a combination of free graphic software and continuous learning, I expanded my skills and began creating websites for other bands. As Myspace gained popularity, my proficiency in HTML set me apart, enabling me to create engaging digital content. This journey led me to secure a graphic design position with a local minor league hockey team, where I honed my skills in visual communication. My subsequent military service further shaped my character, instilling leadership, attention-to-detail, and a strong work ethic. After my military service, I was driven to further develop my design expertise, leading me to pursue a BFA in Graphic Design. I graduated with distinction from CSUS, where I refined my technical abilities, explored new design concepts, and gained a deeper understanding of the principles that underpin effective visual communication. Today, as a freelance graphic designer, I bring together my comprehensive skill set, real-world experiences, and academic achievements to deliver exceptional and impactful design solutions.
